We had the opportunity to perfom at Bastion last season. It was such a nice experience! As musicians, we really enjoyed the Bastion's concept. Playing in front of a really tiny crowd in a cinema with great sound gear was just perfect. The audience was really nice, curious and interested! I know how hard it is for a venue to create a regular audience... Moreover Moana and Daniel are just great people. Finding the balance between culture - because let's face it... Sadly, working with touring independant acts does pay for their rent - and basic incomes is a nice way to go. Thanks for your hard work pals :) Greetings from Brussels, Soho.

Bastion is a special place for movies and concerts, also there's a little party room where to celebrate little parties. Personally, as far as I'm concerned, I think Bochum is a great city thanks to Bastion and the guys who run it: They are beautiful human beings, truly interested in arts and in well-organized events. Bastion is a place where to meet interesting people or watch a great movie. I've attended more than 5 concerts there, and I always enjoyed the artistic and human quality of the event. #BochumBastion

I'm a musician from Sweden, played this venue two times now, and honestly had two of my very best shows here. Very special and intimate atmosphere, Daniel and Moana are great hosts that make you feel at home and has created a unique place for music. If I would live in Bochum this would be my go-to place for going to concerts and hangouts.

I have played at Bastion during European Tours on a number of occasions have always experienced the people there to be both friendly and warm. It has always been god experiences, I can't recall a single thing I would want different

Was here for a nice little concert once and can only recommend it. Don't believe some very negative commends here in google, that where made in light of an incident where the owners felt for the safety of guests and the integrety of the place and thus had to break up an ongoing party - much for the disappointment of those guys it seems.
